Ohh, you have a little romance going on there? I hope all that beauty sleep prepared you for the fateful conversation.

I rather envy you. I've haven't really had many people I held in that high regard before. I did once, and it was enjoyable until it ended. Then I sort of lost interest in girls. Than again, that's just me being hard to please.

Heh. I kind of sound like an old man when I talk about this stuff.:amused

Sory, at least tomorrow is Friday. :D

Alas, this weekend may not provide any relief. I'm going to be going to be away for most of tomorrow and Saturday, leaving me Sunday to deal with whatever homework I get. :push

If it were just a matter of making it to Friday, I'd probably have a lot more energy than what I do now. As it stands, it's really up to luck to determine how much time I'll have to relax in the next couple weeks.
Uh, you just can't seem to have free time, can you?
I'd eventually start to crack under so much work. -.-

I've gone for a lot longer than this without free time. Sometimes I've ended up doing nothing but work for upwards of two weeks. Each night, I generally come home with a minimum of 3 hours of homework, but it's usually somewhere in the 4-5 range. Factor in a couple hours each day Monday-Thursday for Fencing Club and my job, and I don't have much time left. Most days, I literally just come home, do homework while checking in here a few times, and go to sleep. On the days I don't have much homework (which tend to be few and far between), I have to savor whatever free time I can fit in.:push

I've survived for two and a half years, though, so I must be doing something right. =P

And Finus, your school sounds like mine, though I don't know about your homework loads. My high school is #41 in the U.S., and it's also poor. In the past, when windows there have been broken, we can't afford new ones, so we just tape the old ones back together and stick them back up.

We do have gym, though, but they make us take tests on the sport we played after each unit. It's ridiculous.:push

And don't even get me started about the brown fountain water...

Niiiiiice. :cool

Anyways, I've been exposed to large schools during my life. My high school is huge and overpacked and next year, I'll be going to a huge college.
Alas, I shall never know what it is like living in a small community where everyone knows everyone... :oh

We aren't that poor, and our workload isn't that bad. I feel for you man. Maybe its because I'm a freshmen, but I rarely have more than an hour or hour and a half of homework a day.

Heh, well, being a junior, this is supposedly my hardest year in school, so I'm hoping I get a break next year. =P

I've heard that most people who graduate from my school breeze through college, though, so there's some benefit to enduring it. I just have to wait a while to see any payoff. XD

And while there's plenty to complain about at my school, I also have a lot of fun times there, and I've met some really interesting people (despite many who have sacrificed a social life for academics). I'm close to the top of my class, and it's preparing me to do well in the real world, so much as I may whine about it, I have to keep in the back of my mind that I'm actually quite lucky.:amused

Against all odds, I'm in the third highest tier thingy for grades. It is fun to get to know everybody more, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm worried about what will happen around my last two years though...
